Spring Medley

I'm planning on making a floral afghan that calls for an H hook but I tend to like my stiches chunky and use thick hooks.

Does any one have any recommendations for needle guages and places to get bulk afghan yarn for a resonable price in the SF Bay Area?

    If by bulk you mean large skeens, Walgreens carries five colors of the large HEART skeens.....doesn't get as soft as I like for my blankets though. You have to watch for their sales in order to get a good deal. If you mean variety of colors, I use coupons at Michael's ....I'm not sure where there is one in SF Bay Area. Of course there is always ebay if you don't mind off brands and waiting a week.
